Proud to Be Included in the Pinc List 2024

I am incredibly honoured to be included in the Pinc List 2024 as one of Wales’ most influential LGBTQ+ people – for the fourth year in a row! 🏳️‍🌈 To be named alongside so many remarkable LGBTQ+ leaders is both humbling and inspiring.

As a gay immigrant here in Wales, this recognition carries a profound sense of belonging, making me feel both welcome and valued in a country I now proudly call home.

The Pinc List, curated by WalesOnline, celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing equality, inclusion, and visibility for LGBTQ+ people in Wales. It’s a testament to the resilience, strength, and vibrancy of our communities—a powerful reminder of the progress we’ve made and the work that still lies ahead.

Being on the list isn’t just a personal honour; it’s a reflection of the collective responsibility we all share in fostering a more inclusive society. Over the years, I’ve worked on initiatives like the LGBTQ+ Action Plan for Wales, the HIV Action Plan for Wales, Wales HIV Testing Week, the Stop HIV Stigma campaign, and grassroots projects supporting Pride events across the country. Each of these projects has been a collaborative effort, driven by the passion and determination of so many people who share a vision of equality and freedom from discrimination.

But the Pinc List is about more than recognition—it’s a celebration of our shared progress and the diversity of voices that make Wales a beacon for inclusion. From activists and policymakers to artists and educators, every person on this list contributes to a broader movement that’s changing lives and creating a better future for all of us.

Congratulations to everyone included on the Pinc List this year. Your work, your passion, and your leadership continue to inspire me. Together, we’re part of something much bigger than ourselves—a collective movement towards a fairer, more equitable world.

Thank you to WalesOnline for this honour, and thank you to the incredible LGBTQ+ communities across Wales who make this work so meaningful. Here’s to continued progress, resilience, and the power of community. 🏳️‍🌈
