I still can't believe that our book is now published. Writing and editing "Knowledge-scapes" during a pandemic and in lockdown was a real challenge. I wish I could meet the extraordinary co-editors to have a coffee, a cake or a drink and celebrate our achievement in these challenging times. Have a look at the articles and book reviews of the volume on the link in bio. You can also register to join the online launch party for free or order a copy of the book!
Cheesy caption alert! This 2020 has not brought just horrors and difficulties. It also brought to my life the most amazing man that Scotland has ever produced (along with Kenneth I MacAlpin, King of Scots). I love you, Graham Henry - you make me happy when "skies are grey". You and our friends and families are most certainly the reason I managed to go through this year in one piece and retain a version of sanity. I don't know what 2021 will throw at us, but I know we'll be together, and I know we'll manage. I love you baby.
2020 was crazy. It was a difficult year, but it also brought some of the most extraordinary achievements and people to my life. In these difficult times, I was often sincerely happy, and I tried my best to be honest with myself and true to my feelings. I hope that next year I will be able to be more gentle with myself and my limits, and to reinforce my strengths and passions. I hope that I will able to learn more about my Self, to build a better version of myself, and learn more from the world and others. I hope I will meet even more new friends, while keeping in my heart people I met in the past year, who are now part of me. And I hope I will be able to support people around me, remotely and in person. I look forward to future challenges and opportunities for growth in 2021 - I am sure it will be a blast.
Christmas mode, engaged! Our remedy for the covid19 lockdown in Wales, and the "cancelled" festive season. Rocking the outfit for the rugby team Christmas quiz over Zoom - because 2020!
